Creating The Brand

The Challenge

Alisha is a talented chef whose love for cooking began at a young age as a way to connect, heal, and express herself. After years of working across different industries, she was ready to relaunch her passion through Bigger Than Baking.

But entering a saturated food and baking space meant she needed more than beautiful content. She needed a way to stand out, communicate her value, and build a profitable brand without losing the essence of who she was.

Fako Media helped translate Alisha’s story, experience, and culinary passion into visual content that introduced the person behind the brand and positioned Bigger Than Baking as something personal, thoughtful, and distinct.

The Initiative

For Bigger Than Baking, the work began with strategy before visuals. Alisha was entering a saturated culinary space, but her story, lived experience, and community-rooted approach gave the brand a deeper point of difference. Our team conducted intensive research, which gave us a data-backed way to position the brand strategically for performance.

We then developed a brand foundation that helped clarify what Alisha stands for, why her work matters, and how her brand could show up consistently across content, education, and community engagement.

From there, we built a mini brand system in collaboration with Julie Cruz Studio to help Alisha communicate across an onmnichannel strategy. The system included brand guidelines, Canva templates, content archetypes, post structure guidance

Because Bigger Than Baking was never just about food, the approach centered on making the brand feel personal, accessible, and rooted in community. The goal was to position Alisha not only as a chef, but as an educator, entrepreneur, and guide helping people reconnect with food, culture, creativity, and each other.

The Impact

The project transformed Bigger Than Baking from an early-stage idea into a clearer, more intentional brand platform.

Alisha walked away with a strategic narrative, visual identity direction, content system, and launch roadmap that positioned her as more than a chef. The brand now had room to reflect her full story: educator, entrepreneur, community-builder, and culinary creative.

By grounding the work in both profitability and personal essence, the strategy helped Bigger Than Baking stand apart in a crowded space while staying connected to the people, stories, and community that inspired it.
